Hey everyone - glad to be here and glad you are too!
A little about me:
The dry stuff: I'm a sociology major and the president/co-founder of the Social Justice League at the University of Arizona. As part of SJL I have helped organize a Human Trafficking Awareness Week and Tentropolis, a weeklong simulation of what it is like to experience homelessness. I have also been involved with the Tibetan Aid Project where I volunteered in Bohd Gaya, India. Currently SJL is helping YP4 fellows to host Good Works, a nonprofit and public service career fair and creating a research proposal to account for the damage done by China's 9 hydroelectric mega-dams to 5 countries southeast of China. In my future I hope to continue with human rights work.
The fun stuff: I have a few passions in life: social justice and the beauty of nature. My family and my friends are my reason for living. And I believe that laughter is the best medicine. I'm interested in whitewater rafting, anything outdoors, travel, art (oil painting), swinging with my hair down, calenders, water, people, and the answer to the question "why?",

Are you facilitating with Ann and I at the Youth Summit as well??
Would you be willing to commit to helping set up and take down on both days of the April training? It would be more then about a half hour commitment at the begining and end!
